If your experiment is running, stop it. Make sure the joint around the thermal block of the Geode is in good working order to prevent any pressure leak. If the problem persists, please extract the live logs following the procedure described in this FAQ, and send them to email@example.com
Ensure that the pressure source is activated and adjust the pressure delivered to the Geode to 1250 +/- 50 mbar.
When the measured pressure is higher than 300 mbars, a pneumatic lock prevents the lock to be opened for security purposes. In all cases, you should wait for the current pressure to be lower than 20mbars and the current temperature to be lower than 40C before opening the lid. If the waiting time is longer [...]
Press the top blue button located on the rear side of the Geode. If the screen does not respond, reboot the Geode : switch off the back power button, wait a few seconds and switch on the back power button.
Depending on the time power has been out, choose to restart or abort the experiment. Please note that if the pressure within the Geode has decreased below 850 mBar and/ or the temperature of the hot plate has decreased to room temperature, you may not be able to obtain results from your experiment.
In order to avoid overheating of the Geode, could you please verify that these conditions are satisfied : a minimum distance of 25cm to neighbouring objects around the Geode a room temperature below 25°C
In order to refine the diagnostic, we will need logs files automatically generated by the Geode. Here is the procedure to follow to recover those files : Start the Geode (if it is not already done) Plug a USB stick in front of the Geode, wait for its recognition and then select “validate” (green icon) [...]
Yes. First, you will need to disconnect the blue outlet caps and replace them with the tall white PCR caps. Then you can place the chips back into the Geode and select the "Template_StopStart_PCR.js" script, which you may edit according to your experimental needs. Run the program thus modified to add more cycles to your [...]
