How can I send live logs or system logs files?
In order to refine the diagnostic, we will need logs files automatically generated by the Geode.
Here is the procedure to follow to recover those files :
- Start the Geode (if it is not already done)
- Plug a USB stick in front of the Geode, wait for its recognition and then select “validate” (green icon) in the pop-up window that appears
- On the right side of the screen, click on the “Livelogs” button
- Click on the icon “Export” in the lower-right of the graph, then click on “validate” (green icon) to all asked questions (=> a “livelogs” repertory will be created at the root of the USB stick)
- Select the button “System” on the right side of the screen
- Click on the menu “System Logs” (listed at the end of the last line of the menu table)
- Select “Send Log-File to USB-Stick”, then click on “validate” (green icon) to all asked questions (=> a “errorlist.txt” repertory will be created at the root of the USB stick)
- Select “Send Error-File to USB-Stick” then click on “validate” (green icon) to all asked questions (=> an “errolist.txt” file will be created at the root of the USB stick)
- Recover the USB stick and create, on your computer, a repertory “Geode_logs” : copy, in this repertory, both repertories “livelogs” and “syslog”, and the file “errolist.txt”
- Zip the repertory “Geode_logs” into “”Geode_logs.zip” then send it by mail at support@stilla.fr
